    Knockanally Golf Course

    Ovidstown, Donadea, Naas, Co. Kildare
This Irish Championship Golf Course was founded in 1985, and stands on 125 acres of parkland with many water hazards and stately, mature trees all round, with delightful views over the North Kildare countryside. The excellent clubhouse, housed in a 19th century Palladian mansion formerly owned by the Coates family, commands panoramic views of the 6,424 yard course. Knockanally enjoys a proud and well-founded reputation for hospitality and for being a truly excellent "test of golf". Christy O'Connor Snr. has been quoted as saying that Knockanally has the most difficult opening hole in Irish golf. It also boasts water features on eleven holes. One of the most attractive is the par three 11th which is beautifully set amidst overhanging trees and protected front and right by water.

    Athy Golf Club

    Athy Kildare
Within the last two years we have carried out some major developmental work on the course to create a tougher test of golf. We changed the teeing grounds on 11 holes, we built a new Par 5 where the 3rd shot is to a green protected by a lake, we planted new trees and we built 33 new bunkers. The course is now only marginally longer but we decided to put a premium on accuracy and not on length at Athy Golf Club. The Par is now 72 and it is almost 6,500 yards off the Blues
