Galway Golf Club has long been recognised as possessing one of the finest courses in the country. Loughrea Galway
The course itself is parkland but benefits from an excellent terrain of mild hills to create 18 very individual holes. The addition of land to create an 18 hole course in 1992 was further enhanced and lengthened in later years. In particular visitors often compliment holes 14 and 15 and some of the finest in the country
